It’s a new year and we’ve had great workouts at TFS all this week to ring in 2014!
very excited about the possibilities to make 2014 a hugely successful one and hope
you are too!

In honor of the new year, I want to share a couple “Coach’s Tips” to help set us all up for
success for 2014-

Become your biggest Champion!

Shut down any negative voices of self-doubt in your head. Don’t criticize your body, your talent,
your skill, or yourself. Every time you judge yourself negatively, replace the thought with something
you love about yourself. Are you fit, healthy, funny, witty, driven, committed, friendly and caring,
trustworthy, loyal, etc? Every time you judge your body negatively, replace the thought with how
fitness makes you feel, and then remind yourself of your fitness goals and stay driven to
achieving them! Make yourself feel empowered, strong, and stay inspired… own that!

Shut down gossip. A healthy heart and mindset contribute to a healthy body. If you criticize, judge,
or are jealous of others, you’re wasting your time living someone else’s life. I always try to find
the best in every person I meet and get to know. Choose to live your own life controlling what you
are in control of and choose to live happy! Don’t ever let anyone bring you down and always
have a positive MINDSET!

If you’re living average…. remember average is just as close to the top as it is the bottom! Up your
game! There is so much room in life for greatness. Why not you? Not only in health & fitness
