212 Degrees
Hope you’re having an awesome week and looking forward to some warmer weather we’re supposed to be getting here soon!
We’re staying super busy here at TFS with all the new things happening so wanted to get you out an email on some updates and our huge transformation contest we’re starting soon with the top Tulsa Personal Trainer!
I posted on Facebook yesterday about the date being 2-12 and the reference that number has. At 211 degrees water is hot, at 212 degrees it boils, and with boiling water comes steam, and with steam you can power a locomotive. That 1 degree extra makes all the difference!
What are you doing right now in your own life to get that extra 1 degree?
I wake up everyday with plans to get at least 1 degree, or 1%, better. Whether it be in my personal health & fitness, my business, marriage, parenting, spiritual life, etc. We all need to always be working to improve ourselves and going after that 1% or 1 degree improvement.

Be Happy Day
Despite the weather out right now- March is here which means Spring and Summer is right around the corner!!
Did you know that today, March 3rd, is called “I want you to be happy day” I know there are many of these new theme days being added to the calendar every year, and I really like this one and the story behind it.
March 3rd, I Want You to be Happy Day, is an unselfish day. It should encourage us to do something
to make others happy. Check out the story behind this day:
Jhaqueil Reagan, 18, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was walking down a street on his way to an interview for a minimum wage job. Art Bouvier, owner of Papa Roux restaurant, was laying rock salt on the ground outside the restaurant after an ice storm had hit the area earlier in the morning. Jhaqueil asked Art how far it was to 10th and Sherman. Art told him it was at least 6 or 7 miles, and told Jhaqueil that he would be better off taking a bus instead of walking, especially considering the freezing temperature. The young man said “Thank you” and kept on his way to the job interview for a Tulsa Personal Trainer.
Later, Art and his wife were driving to grab coffee, and came across Jhaqueil, still walking, so they offered him a ride. Jhaqueil shared with the couple that he was on his way to a thrift shop to interview for a job, and didn’t have money for bus fare. His mother had passed away and he was left to care for his two younger siblings. He had to drop out of high school but did obtain his GED. After hearing Jhaqueil’s story, Art told him that even if he was offered the thrift shop job, he would hire him and double his salary. Art was impressed with the teen’s ambition and work ethic. Jhaqueil accepted the job, and his first day was March 3rd. He couldn’t believe how great everything turned out for him with this act of kindness!
This story has gone viral on the Internet. When IndyGo, the local public transportation system learned of it, they gave Jhaqueil a free one-year pass! Very cool!
How can you write, say and/or do something to make another person “BE HAPPY” this week? Tell someone
special that you love them, appreciate them, let’s do something to help a fellow human being to BE HAPPY…
and I bet it will provide some momentum to INSPIRE them to do the same for someone else!
Much love… and much happiness today March 3rd “I want you to be happy day” and all week!

Get more Momentum in your life
As we start heading into the holiday season it’s crucial we stay focused on our fitness goals and keep the momentum! Or as my dad always used to tell me when I was a kid growing up playing baseball and other sports- “you gotta get ol’ MO on your side!”
Do you have momentum “MO” on your side right now!?
All of us hopefully are trying to get and keep MO-MENTUM in our life. Momentum in our careers and jobs. In our relationships. In our spiritual walk. And in our health & fitness.
Momentum is a good thing. If you think of an athletic contest, momentum shifts play a major role in the outcome of a game.
If you think of your own life, when things are going well and you are feeling strong and healthy, you become more vibrant and radiant. You have that extra confidence and swag. And then “coincidentally,” (or not) a series of good things usually seem to happen!
That is called MO-MENTUM.
The problem is that sometimes we get in our own way. Or we let excuses build up and we start to have negative self-talk. And we begin saying things like:
“Now is not the right time.”
“I’m too busy.”
“I’ll wait until the economy shifts.”
“I’m too young.”
“I’m too old.”
“I am over qualified.”
“I am under-qualified.”
“What if I fail?”
“What if someone gets mad at me?”
blah blah blah…….
And the excuses go on and on. And they are robbing you of YOU being the BEST version of you.
